Cynthia Sheppard

Cynthia began her training at the age of eight at the Long Beach Ballet.  She attended summer sessions at the Houston Ballet Academy and the Pennsylvania Ballet on full scholarship.  She performed with Los Angeles Classical Ballet for five years in Coppelia, Don Quixote, Faust Symphonique and Romeo and Juliet.  Cynthia moved to New York to pursue her dance career and was a member of New York Theatre Ballet for five years before joining the Oakland Ballet as a soloist in 2002.
