American Tour Management International, Inc., in cooperation with David Wilcox Productions and China Poly Culture & Art Co., Ltd., completed a two and half week performing tour of China.  

All members of the tour stayed in minimum 3-star hotels.  The tour was sanctioned by the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles and the American Consulate in  Beijing.

For those selected by audition to perform, all expenses were paid, including airfare from Los Angeles to Beijing and return, hotel accommodations, meals, transportation in China and performance related expenses such as pointe shoes.

China Tour 2001 followed a series of unique and exclusive tours under the management of David Wilcox and American Tour Management International, Inc.  Previous successful tours include:

Taiwan 1997 – 

Three-week tour with 26 dancers to 9 cities performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

China 1998 – 

Four week tour with 28 dancers to 6 cities performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Taiwan 2000 – 

Three-week tour with 27 dancers to 8 cities performing Aladdin.

A limited number of additional spaces on the tour were made available for family and friends of the selected dancers.  

Besides performing at several of China’s most beautiful theaters to thousands of ballet fans,  China Tour 2001 offered all tour members many entertaining and educational excursions including visits to the Great Wall and the Forbidden City.
