Roberto
Almaguer, born in Cuba, began his professional dancing career under
the direction of Fernando Alonso. He became a soloist with
the National Ballet of Cuba in 1989 following two Gold Medals in the
International Ballet Competition in Peru. He was been a guest
artist with Miami City Ballet and a principal dancer with Cleveland/San
Jose Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago. He is currently
artistic director of Dance Peninsula Ballet in Palos Verdes. |
 
Bethany Butts has a
degree in dance from Birmingham College, has been a soloist for the past
six years with the Georgia Ballet of Atlanta, and has extensive teaching
and coaching experience with students of all ages and abilities.
In addition to ballet, Miss Butts is adept at tap, ballroom, jazz,
modern dance. |
